Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking a Lead HVAC Installation Technician in the Virginia Beach area. The role involves skilled installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and acting as an assistant manager to the HVAC Service Manager.

You will lead a small crew, schedule field technicians, and coordinate materials to meet timelines and budgets. The position requires 5 years of HVAC experience, hands-on tools, and the ability to travel to multiple job sites.

Qualifications

• 5 years of progressive HVAC operational and installation experience in building systems and services.
• Experience scheduling a small group of technicians.
• Initiative, interpersonal skills, and sense of urgency.
• Ability to analyze problems and develop solutions.
• Must possess or obtain personal hand tools.
• Able to multi-task with minimal supervision and follow instructions.
• Adherence to company policies; travel to multiple job sites as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial HVAC installation tasks, including power wiring, control wiring, and related piping.
• Sketch transitions and duct fittings for install jobs.
• Direct a small crew and coordinate technicians in the field.
• Schedule technicians and respond to calls from installers.
• Requisition materials from stockroom and vendors.
• Perform brazing, soldering, pipefitting, and minor fabrication.
• Plan to complete jobs on time and within budget.
• Coordinate activities of craft workers and interpret drawings.
• Install systems in commercial/industrial buildings.
• Maintain company assets and complete required paperwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
