ENCON Heating & Air Conditioning seeks an experienced Commercial HVAC Estimator to join our team in the United States. The role focuses on pre-construction estimating for commercial HVAC projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.

You will review drawings and specs, perform takeoffs, and prepare competitive bids. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field personnel to ensure accurate estimates and timely bid submissions.

Formación

• Minimum of 5 years of estimating experience, with a focus on commercial HVAC projects.
• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems, equipment, ductwork, piping, controls, and related construction practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, schedules, and technical documents.
• Experience performing material takeoffs and developing detailed project estimates.
• Proficiency with estimating software and tools.
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously.
• Self‑motivated, detail-oriented and committed to delivering accurate results.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial HVAC projects, including labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and other project-related expenses.
• Review drawings, specifications, bid documents, and project requirements to determine project scope.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop comprehensive project estimates.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations to ensure competitive pricing.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions while maintaining project quality and performance standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, field personnel, and leadership throughout the estimating process.
• Prepare and submit bid proposals in accordance with project requirements and deadlines.
• Maintain organized records of estimates, bids, contracts, and project documentation.
• Stay current with industry trends, HVAC technologies, market conditions, and pricing fluctuations.
• Assist with project handoffs to operations teams following contract award.
