Job summary

Texas AirSystems is seeking a Technical Specialist to provide high-level technical resources across the full project lifecycle for LG equipment and controls. You will assist with design, verify installations, coordinate start-ups, and support post-start-up issues for customers and internal teams.

The role emphasizes collaboration with sales, contractors, and service personnel, requiring strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Travel to job sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field, or equivalent HVAC industry experience.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC equipment application, technical support, or system design.
• Strong working knowledge of LG equipment, HVAC systems, and applied mechanical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with LG equipment design and selection during estimating phase.
• Review project-specific control requirements and ensure LG equipment selections meet criteria.
• Provide technical guidance to ensure proposed solutions align with customer and project requirements.
• Verify proper installation of LG equipment per project requirements and standards.
• Oversee piping walkthroughs for split systems pre- and post-installation.
