Job summary

Kelso Industries is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Technician/Chiller Technician to join our field service team. You will diagnose, repair, and optimize a wide range of commercial HVAC systems across facilities nationwide, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality service.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of HVAC experience, EPA 608 certification, and the ability to work independently. BAS/DDC experience is a plus, with a role that offers ongoing training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 Universal Certification is required.
• 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience.
• Experience with BAS/DDC controls platforms is a plus.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting across low and high voltage systems.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in mechanical rooms, rooftops, and confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair all types of commercial HVAC equipment.
• Commission and start up chiller and controls systems, optimizing efficiency.
• Identify and resolve electrical, mechanical, and controls issues.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on chillers, towers, pumps, boilers, and related equipment.
• Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and control schematics.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and communicate findings to customers.
• Adhere to safety requirements, EPA standards, and company policies.
• Provide guidance to apprentices and junior technicians where applicable.
