Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a Commercial Industrial HVAC Technician in Minster, OH, to service 100% commercial/industrial facilities within a ~40‑mile radius. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain chillers, walk-in coolers, and refrigeration equipment, using blueprints and field software.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of hands-on HVAC experience, EPA Universal Certification, and a strong troubleshooting mindset. A clean MVR is required and a company vehicle is provided after training.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years hands-on HVAC service experience.
• EPA Universal Certification required; OSHA a plus.
• Valid driver's license with clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic inspections, maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on 100% commercial and industrial systems.
• Service and repair chillers, heavy commercial HVAC systems, and refrigeration equipment.
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics for diagnostics.
• Use field service software (CertainPath/ServiceTitan) for updates and dispatch.
• Communicate with facility managers about status and schedules.
• Operate a company vehicle; keep it stocked and safe.
• Participate in light on-call rotation for emergencies.
