Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas Inc seeks a full-time Senior Commercial HVAC Chiller Technician in Charlotte, NC. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC systems, including chillers, rooftops, boilers, and heat pumps.

Expect growth through hands-on leadership and advanced troubleshooting. You will train and supervise junior technicians, maintain safety standards, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years related experience for Tech III; 3+ years for Tech II with increasing responsibility
• High School Diploma or GED
• HVAC certificate from technical school or equivalent experience
• EPA approved Universal Technician Certification required
• Work visa sponsorship not available

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance of commercial HVAC equipment: log machines, clean coils, replace filters/belts, lubricate
• Repair/replace defective equipment and components for chillers, fan coils, water source heat pumps, AHUs, rooftops, towers
• Inspect equipment to prevent breakdowns and analyze chiller trend data
• Lead rebuilds and retrofits; supervise Levels I and II technicians
• Record billing, inventory, timecards, and reports; communicate with customers
