Job summary

Maxwell Plumb Mechanical Group in Bayside, NY seeks a genuinely experienced Commercial HVAC and Boiler Service Technician with 10+ years of hands‑on expertise. This senior role involves diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing complex HVAC and boiler systems across multifamily buildings, offices and hospitals in New York City and surroundings.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial HVAC and boiler service experience.
• Experience with Scotch Marine and firebox boilers.
• Experience with Heat‑Timer boiler controls.
• OSHA training and NYC FDNY Certificates of Fitness.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC and boiler systems.
• Work on Scotch Marine and firebox boilers (100–600 size).
• Troubleshoot burners, pumps, motors, safeties, electrical components, and controls.
• Service rooftop units, packaged units, split systems, mini-splits, and VRF systems.
• Read wiring diagrams and diagnose mechanical, electrical, refrigeration‑cycle, and control failures.
• Complete accurate service documentation using company‑provided technology.
• Maintain a clean, safe, stocked, and professional company vehicle.
• Participate in manufacturer‑specific technical training and continuing education.
