Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Commercial Flooring Project Manager to oversee projects from pre-construction through completion. You will coordinate customers, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews to ensure schedules, budgets, and safety standards are met.

The role demands hands-on leadership, multi-project management, and a strong knowledge of flooring systems such as carpet tile, VCT, LVT, sheet vinyl, and polished concrete.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial flooring project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial flooring products and installation methods.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial flooring projects from estimating handoff through final completion.
• Review plans, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules.
• Coordinate materials, deliveries, installers, subcontractors, and job-site activities.
• Communicate regularly with general contractors, owners, architects, vendors, and internal teams.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, change orders, and profitability.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules and track progress against milestones.
• Conduct or participate in job-site meetings and project walkthroughs.
• Identify potential project issues and develop timely solutions.
• Ensure flooring installations meet contract specifications and quality standards.
• Review measurements, quantities, material requirements, and installation details.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, punch lists, and closeout documentation.
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
• Promote and enforce company safety policies and job-site requirements.
• Build strong relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and installation partners.
