Jobot is seeking a Senior Estimator to join our construction team in Charlotte. The role focuses on preparing detailed hard bid estimates for commercial projects, with emphasis on accuracy and competitiveness.

This is a permanent, full-time position offering a strong salary and benefits. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in construction estimating, a bachelor’s in CM/engineering, and proficiency with estimating software.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in construction estimating, focused on commercial projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in CM, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Proven expertise in hard bid estimating and cost analysis.
• Proficient with estimating software and relevant computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial projects including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Deliver competitive, accurate hard bid estimates for bids and proposals.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to define project requirements.
• Review plans and specs to determine overall project cost and value engineering opportunities.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure alignment with budgets.
