Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group is seeking an experienced commercial estimator to lead bids for interior and retail tenant fit-out projects. Expect to review drawings, prepare estimates, manage schedules, and issue RFIs while coordinating with clients and subcontractors to keep projects moving forward.

The role requires a strong background in commercial construction estimation, excellent communication, and the ability to travel as needed in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in commercial construction.
• 8–10 years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
• Experience with interior tenant fit-outs required.
• Retail tenant fit-out experience preferred.
• Some ground-up construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive estimates for commercial construction projects.
• Review construction drawings and bid documents to identify requirements.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive construction schedules.
• Develop and issue RFIs relating to drawings and bid documents.
• Negotiate final contracts with subcontractors regarding scope, pricing, and terms.
• Interact professionally with clients and subcontractors throughout estimating and construction.
• Communicate with team members and clients to keep projects moving forward.
• Travel as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
