Job summary

NEXT Electric, LLC in Madison, WI seeks a full-time Commercial Journeyman Electrician to perform electrical work in line with customer project specifications and local codes. The role includes supervising and training other electricians, planning layouts, and installing wiring, equipment and fixtures according to standards.

Candidates should have 6+ years of experience and hold a Wisconsin journeyman or master license.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of electrical experience required.
• Must hold a Wisconsin journeyman or master electrician license.
• Knowledge of NEC and electrical theory is required.
• Experience reading construction drawings/blueprints.
• OSHA 30 or ability to obtain; 70E certification preferred but not required.
• CDL preferred but not required; pre-employment background/drug/MVR checks may apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical work per customer project specs.
• Supervise and train other electrical workers.
• Plan layout and install wiring, equipment, and fixtures per codes.
