Job summary

Elite Executive Solutions, in partnership with a leading electrical contractor, seeks an experienced Commercial Superintendent to oversee large-scale electrical construction across the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

You will lead field operations, supervise crews, coordinate scheduling and materials, maintain safety and quality, and mentor future leaders. This role offers a base salary of $130,000–$180,000 plus bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Journeyman or Master Electrician license in DC/VA/MD required.
• 8+ years of commercial electrical construction experience.
• Experience in superintendent or senior foreman roles on large commercial projects.
• Strong scheduling, manpower planning, productivity, and field coordination skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to safety, quality and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations for commercial electrical projects from mobilization to closeout.
• Supervise foremen, journeymen, apprentices, subcontractors, and field staff.
• Coordinate manpower planning, schedules, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
• Ensure safety, schedule, budget, and quality standards are met.
• Conduct daily planning meetings with PMs and leadership.
• Review drawings, specs, and project docs to ensure execution success.
• Identify field challenges early and implement proactive solutions.
• Build relationships with clients, general contractors, inspectors and stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop future field leaders and foster continuous improvement.
