Vortex Doors is seeking a Senior Commercial Door & Dock Systems Technician in California. You will install, service, and maintain commercial doors, dock equipment, and access hardware while following safety standards and code compliance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial door service experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• AAADM certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of multiple door types, brands, and hardware.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial doors, dock equipment, and hardware.
• Diagnose and complete repairs incl. springs, hinges, locks, operators, and low-voltage components.
• Install and configure locks, closers, and access control devices.
• Verify compliance with safety guidelines and building codes.
• Deliver clear communication of findings and recommended solutions.
• Maintain accurate service notes and records.
• Perform quality checks to uphold standards.
