Job summary

DuraServ is seeking experienced technicians to diagnose with precision, install with pride, and own the outcome on site. You’ll manage complex service calls and installations, read wiring diagrams, and ensure safety standards on every job.

You’ll have the autonomy to make technical decisions, documented work, and ongoing opportunities for manufacturer certifications and career growth.

Qualifications

• Valid, current state-issued driver’s license; daily field travel to customer sites.
• Ability to meet physical demands: regular fieldwork outdoors, ladder use, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent; trade school certification valued.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with commercial dock and door systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain dock and door equipment to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose root causes, not just symptoms, during mechanical/electrical diagnostics.
• Read manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical docs to guide repairs.
• Maintain a safe job site and comply with OSHA policies and PPE rules.
• Document service activity with parts used and recommendations for future maintenance.
• Communicate clearly with customers and provide real-time status updates.
• Support teammates on larger installations and adapt to changing schedules.
