Job summary

Malwarebytes is seeking a Senior Commercial Data Analyst to join the Data & Insights group in a hybrid role (Santa Clara, CA area). You will lead data analysis, develop Power BI dashboards, and partner with Finance, Marketing/Retention, and Product to support revenue and ARR initiatives.

The ideal candidate has advanced SQL, dbt Core experience, Snowflake data modeling, and Git-based CI/CD familiarity, with 4–6+ years in analytics engineering or FP&A in a SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• Strong data analysis skills including window functions and transformation frameworks.
• Understanding of common financial KPIs and ability to collaborate with Finance and Marketing/Retention teams.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and BI data modeling optimization.
• Experience with CI/CD workflows and Git-based PRs.

Responsibilities

• Translate business and executive requirements into curated financial and operational datasets.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for company-wide consumption.
• Map business metrics to eCommerce vendors and internal data sources.
• Update revenue configurations after product launches and bundle changes.
• Run pre-production versus production data comparisons as part of CI/CD.
• Monitor processes and investigate root causes of failures.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Retention/Marketing, Product, and Finance on multiple projects.
