Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• 5–7 years lending or credit experience preferred.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Analytical mindset with good judgment for credit decisions.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter; able to meet deadlines and multi-task.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy lending environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and debt service capacity.
• Identify exceptions to lending policies and underwriting guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Research borrower industry and market conditions.
• Identify repayment risks and suggest mitigations.
• Prepare written assessments of credit requests.
• Ensure complete loan packages for approvals.
• Assist in training analysts.
• Assist lenders with sales activities and customer contacts.
• Assist with special projects and other duties.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or related field

5-7 years experience in lending or credit

Detail oriented and ability to multi-task

Strong analytical skills

Must communicate effectively, both verbal and written

Must be a self-starter and able to meet all deadlines

Ability to organize and prioritize

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Must get along with co-workers and work effectively in a team environment
