Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field is required.
• At least 4 years’ experience in commercial credit or related financial analysis; flexible with 8 years combined education/experience as alternative.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite new credit requests and modifications from screen through approval and life of loan.
• Conduct credit analyses and prepare independent credit quality assessments with risk ratings.
• Maintain timely credit risk ratings across portfolio and monitor ongoing credit risk.
• Spread financial statements and build financial models to sensitize conditions in proposed transactions.
• Attend client/prospect calls with relationship managers to understand client business and deal context.
• Ensure underwriting complies with Commercial Credit Policy and risk controls.
