Job summary

Savers Bank is seeking a Commercial Credit Officer in Southbridge, MA to analyze borrower financial statements, cash flow, collateral, and repayment capacity, supporting lending decisions from initial review through closing. You will prepare clear credit analyses and coordinate with lenders and Credit Committee to keep transactions moving on schedule.

You’ll work with the Credit Administrator, maintain accurate records, and help develop procedures to improve workflows.

Qualifications

• Five years of commercial lending experience preferred.
• Ability to analyze financial information and identify risk.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Capable of multi-tasking under deadlines.
• Experience with loan documentation and credit systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze borrower and guarantor financial statements, cash flow, and collateral to assess credit risk.
• Prepare clear credit analyses for new transactions and annual reviews.
• Coordinate with lending partners and Credit Committee to move transactions to closing.
• Maintain accurate loan records and support regulatory reporting.
• Mentor junior credit analysts and support the Commercial Credit Manager.
