Job summary

Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) through Community Bank, N.A. seeks a Credit Analyst III to underwriting complex commercial loans and support senior credit staff across diverse client relationships.

You will perform in-depth financial analysis, document findings, and contribute to risk assessment and policy compliance. Ideal candidates have a BS/BA in a finance-related field and at least six years in commercial credit analysis, with strong Excel and communication skills to deliver concise

Qualifications

BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related field plus specialized education in credit analysis and commercial lending.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in commercial credit analysis, underwriting, or a related banking role.
Proficient in financial statement analysis and loan structuring; strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

Independently analyze and underwrite complex commercial credit relationships.
Prepare comprehensive credit memoranda for new requests, renewals, and reviews.
Perform advanced financial analysis including cash flows, trends, and stress testing.
Identify risks and document assumptions; escalate as needed.
Support credit officers and relationship managers on complex transactions.
