Job summary

Richemont seeks a Senior Legal Counsel to lead day-to-day legal work for its Americas region from New York City. You will join the Group Legal Team and support internal clients across a high-volume environment, handling commercial and vendor agreements.

The role emphasizes strategic counseling, risk mitigation, and collaboration with IT, privacy, and business teams. JD and NY bar are required; 7+ years of experience; Spanish/Portuguese a plus.

Qualifications

• J.D. required from a leading law school.
• Must be a member of at least one state bar in good standing (NY strongly preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of commercial transactional experience in fast-paced multi-jurisdictional environments across the Americas.
• Proven expertise in complex commercial contracts, including drafting, negotiation, and strategic counseling.
• Experience in retail or consumer products industries preferred.
• Experience with e-commerce, digital platforms, data privacy, and/or technology transactions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial and vendor agreements across all business functions.
• Stay current on legal and regulatory developments including AI, ESG, and digital commerce, advising on contractual risks.
