Job summary

Tekion is seeking a Commercial Counsel to lead end-to-end commercial contracting in a fast-growing SaaS environment. You will negotiate complex agreements, partner with Sales, Finance, Product and other teams, and help scale contract processes while managing risk.

You will handle SaaS, MSAs, SOWs, DPAs and partnerships, stay current on data privacy laws, and contribute to a fast-paced governance culture with equity options and medical benefits.

Qualifications

• JD required with active bar in at least one US jurisdiction.
• 10+ years of experience in providing legal support to high-growth SaaS sales teams.
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex enterprise SaaS agreements.

Responsibilities

• Lead drafting, review and negotiation of complex commercial agreements (SaaS, MSAs, SOWs, DPAs).
• Partner with Sales and Partnership teams to ensure fast turnaround under tight deadlines.
• Collaborate with Finance, Engineering and other teams on contract reviews and risk management.
• Provide practical legal advice to internal stakeholders on wide range of commercial matters.
• Stay updated on SaaS, AI, data privacy and industry trends affecting automotive tech.
