Job summary

GE Vernova in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Senior Commercial Contracts Manager to draft and negotiate complex contracts across GVH product lines. You will lead negotiations, manage risk, and align terms with GVH standards in the Inquiry to Order process.

Ideal candidates hold a JD with 5+ years of experience, can travel as needed, and will guide project teams through contract life cycles while ensuring compliance with internal governance and policy.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 5+ years of directly related contract experience.

Responsibilities

• Draft contract language for sales contracts, NDAs, consortium agreements, and other partnering models.
• Lead customer contract negotiations with the Commercial Team.
• Review and develop term sheets and agreements to GVH standards.
• Ensure consistency of positions across contracts and market practices.
• Draft memorandums of understanding and teaming agreements as directed.
• Develop project delivery models acceptable to delivery teams and customers.
• Coordinate expert reviews and track deadlines to meet schedules.
• Ensure compliance with GVH risk processes and policies.
• Provide guidance on RFQs, change orders, T&Cs, and contract administration.
• Identify and manage risk, and negotiate resolutions with leadership support.
• Bridge business and Legal to ensure compliant contract execution.
• Improve templates, playbooks, and negotiation tools for speed.
