Job summary

Duke Energy is seeking a Lead Commercial Contract Manager to oversee contracts for Services, Equipment Supply, and materials, primarily for Solar and Energy Storage projects in the Carolinas. You will ensure compliance with Supply Chain policy and coordinate contract changes with stakeholders to meet approved schedules and costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of related work experience for Lead Commercial Contract Manager.
• 10+ years of related work experience for Principal level.

Responsibilities

• Provide governance and oversight of strategic contracts and/or major EPC contracts; act as SPOC/SME between BU and contractor.
• Resolve contractual issues through direct negotiations to meet schedule requirements.
• Lead contractor relationships and expediting parts and services to support project schedules.
• Mentor and train lower level Commercial Contract Managers where applicable.
