QXO, a leading building products distributor/installer, seeks a Director, Commercial Contracts Counsel to advise across the enterprise. You will draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, support sales and procurement, and shape scalable contracting processes.

You’ll collaborate with IT, Operations, Finance, and other stakeholders to drive efficiency and compliance. You will lead contract lifecycle initiatives, manage high-risk transactions, and mentor teams while aligning legal

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school with active state-bar status.
• 5+ years in commercial contracting, procurement, or related matters.
• Experience supporting a large, multi-site organization preferred.
• Strong drafting and negotiating of a broad range of agreements.

Responsabilités

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage high-volume commercial agreements (customer, vendor, MSA, NDAs, channel).
• Provide practical guidance on sales, pricing, channel practices, antitrust considerations.
• Advise procurement, supply chain, and operations on supplier agreements and logistics terms.
• Counsel on technology transactions (SaaS/cloud, data processing, cybersecurity provisions).
• Manage contracting lifecycle from intake to execution and escalate high-risk transactions.
• Develop templates, playbooks, clause libraries, and self-service tools.
• Lead or support CLM tooling and process transformation initiatives.
• Train business partners on contracting processes and risk allocation.
