Job summary

Blayze Group in the Dallas–Fort Worth area is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead on-site commercial projects. You will oversee field operations, manage subcontractors and site personnel, coordinate daily schedules, and ensure safety, quality, and client satisfaction from start to finish.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years as a superintendent on commercial builds, carpentry experience, and a proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects.
• Experience in a trade, ideally carpentry.
• Proven track record delivering projects on schedule and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, safety regulations, and quality control.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and complex project activities.
• Proficiency with construction management software is preferred.
• OSHA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site construction activities from project commencement through completion.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Coordinate daily field operations, schedules, and logistics.
• Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Monitor project quality and ensure work is completed according to plans and specifications.
• Conduct regular site meetings with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve construction challenges proactively to minimize delays.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers to maintain schedules, budgets, and project objectives.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, progress updates, and site documentation.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, inspectors, and project partners.
