Job summary

Tri-State General Contractors in Arizona is seeking a seasoned construction professional to manage commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will oversee schedules, budgets, procurement, and subcontractor coordination to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with high-quality results.

You will review drawings and contracts, monitor risks, lead communications with owners and architects, and enforce safety standards while driving continuous improvement across teams and processes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in construction estimating or a related commercial construction role.
• Experience managing commercial construction projects with budgets of $5 million or greater.
• Strong understanding of drawings, specifications, contracts, project schedules, and construction practices.
• Experience managing project budgets, cost controls, change orders, pay applications, and subcontractor administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, work plans, and resource allocation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and project teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Oversee project financials, including budgets, cost tracking, pay applications, change orders, cash flow, and subcontractor invoices.
• Review project documents, contracts, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance and identify potential risks or issues.
• Lead project communication with owners, architects, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and proactively address schedule, budget, quality, and operational challenges.
• Manage subcontractor buyouts, procurement activities, contract administration, and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company safety standards, project requirements, and regulatory obligations.
• Oversee project closeout activities, including punch lists, warranties, final documentation, and client turnover.
