Job summary

KIRCO MANIX in Troy, MI is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from planning through closeout. You will manage schedules, budgets, forecasts, and overall performance while coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, subs, vendors, and internal teams to deliver on time and within budget.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of ground-up commercial construction experience, strong budgeting and scheduling skills, and excellent communication and leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field is preferred.
• 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
• Experience leading ground-up commercial construction projects.
• Strong cost control, scheduling, and budgeting capabilities.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial construction projects from planning to closeout.
• Develop and manage schedules, budgets, forecasts, and performance.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subs, vendors, and teams.
• Oversee procurement, contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and docs.
• Partner with superintendents to keep projects on schedule and safe.
• Monitor costs and address budget or schedule risks proactively.
• Lead meetings and communicate with clients and stakeholders.
• Review drawings, specs, contracts, and documents; manage closeout.
