Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. is seeking a Commercial Construction Project Manager to lead projects from start to finish in Georgia. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure safety and quality across the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of commercial construction experience, a four-year degree preferred, and proficiency with ProCore, JD Edwards, and Microsoft Office. This role requires strong leadership and client-facing skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; four-year degree strongly preferred in construction, engineering, or business.
• In lieu of a degree, additional work experience is acceptable.
• 5+ years’ experience in commercial construction, including experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Previous experience in a project management role with the ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to master sector/project software: Microsoft Office (Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam, JD Edwards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety standards compliance and complete required documentation.
• Create and manage project budgets for assigned projects.
• Develop and collaborate on pre-construction RFP packages.
• Lead project meetings, set milestones, and prepare monthly owner reports.
• Establish job processes (RFIs, submittals, pay applications) and approve changes.
• Schedule projects and ensure quality control and logistics.
• Manage closeout processes efficiently.
• Engage with clients to discuss needs and align services.
• Supervise assistant PMs, admin staff, MEP managers, and safety teams.
• Collaborate with site team throughout project lifecycle.
