You will coordinate with subs, architects, and project teams, review drawings for constructability, identify value engineering opportunities, and mentor junior estimators.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of commercial construction estimating experience.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Proficiency with estimating software and tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates from drawings, specs, and scope.
• Perform quantity takeoffs, pricing analysis, and cost studies.
• Develop and assemble competitive bids and proposals.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors for pricing.
• Serve as liaison between project teams, architects, engineers, and clients.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving options.
• Review plans for constructability, scope gaps, and risks.
• Maintain bid documentation and estimate records.
• Support project handoff to operations and assist buyout.
• Mentor junior estimators or support staff.
