Job summary

Loomis US is seeking a Collections Specialist to maintain and manage assigned accounts in a fast-paced collections environment. The role emphasizes resolving billing issues, processing refunds, and coordinating with sales and branch teams to accelerate collections.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience managing large commercial accounts, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Must possess analytical skills relating to customer service and collections.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where procedural changes are common.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for assigned local/regional accounts and interface with these customers on billing issues.
• Provide customer service on collection issues; process refunds; review account adjustments; and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor and maintain assigned accounts/portfolio, including follow-ups, adjustments, write-offs, and reconciliations.
• Engage sales, branch, and/or senior management as needed to accelerate collections.
• Undertake in-depth account research to resolve outstanding customer service/billing issues for assigned accounts.
