Job summary

King's Insurance Staffing is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Claims Adjuster in Sacramento, CA to manage a caseload of complex commercial and public-entity claims from reporting through resolution. Responsibilities include investigating losses, evaluating liability and damages, establishing reserves, coordinating with defense counsel, negotiating settlements, and pursuing subrogation when appropriate.

The ideal candidate will handle litigated, high-severity files independently.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial Property and/or Liability claims experience.
• Experience handling complex and litigated claims.
• Public entity, self-insured, or school-related claims experience is preferred.
• Ability to independently manage a senior-level caseload.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of commercial and public-entity claims from assignment through resolution.
• Investigate losses and evaluate liability, damages, coverage, and overall exposure.
• Handle General Liability, Auto Liability, Property, and other complex claims.
• Establish and maintain appropriate reserves.
• Coordinate with attorneys, claimants, vendors, and other involved parties.
• Manage litigated files and assist with settlement strategy and negotiations.
• Maintain accurate and timely claim documentation.
