Job summary

Mesa Energy Systems, Inc. is seeking a Boiler Technician to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, test and repair boiler controls and system components in our California service area.

Key duties include daily boiler operation, routine checks, PM tasks, calibration of safety systems, and periodic tuning and inspections. Applicants must have a strong HVAC background and be available for on-site work.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a 4-year apprenticeship program or technical schooling.
• Must have 5+ years of commercial air conditioning experience.
• Must be available for emergency call outs.
• Must be a team player and able to work with other trades and client’s staff.
• EMS experience a plus (Staefa/Siemens).
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily operations of boilers.
• Complete daily checks and maintain operating records.
• Perform PM maintenance and repairs to boilers and equipment.
• Perform monthly testing of all safeties.
• Complete annual tuning and inspections of boilers.
• Monitor chemical feeds for boiler systems.
• Monitor exhaust/stack emissions.

4-year apprenticeship or technical schooling

Staefa/Siemens EMS experience

Rule 1415 certified
