Job summary

Mesa Energy Systems is seeking a Boiler Technician to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, test and repair boiler controls and system components on a commercial scale in our Bakersfield area operations.

The role covers daily boiler operations, routine checks, PM tasks, safety testing, and annual inspections, with emphasis on reliability and teamwork to support building energy solutions.

Qualifications

• Completion of a 4-year apprenticeship or technical schooling is required.
• 5+ years of commercial air conditioning experience is required.
• Able to respond to emergency call outs.
• Valid driver's license in good standing is required.
• Rule 1415 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily operations of boilers.
• Complete daily checks and maintain necessary operating records.
• Perform PM maintenance and repairs to boilers and associated equipment.
• Perform monthly testing of all safeties.
• Complete annual tuning and inspections of boilers.
• Monitor chemical feeds for boiler systems.
• Monitor exhaust/stack emissions.
