Job summary

Republic Bank in Tennessee seeks a Sr Commercial Banking Officer to develop and manage a portfolio of business clients, focusing on depository, lending, and fee-based opportunities. Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years banking experience with at least 5 years of direct business lending experience.
• Strong knowledge of underwriting business loans involving CRE, AR, inventory and equipment.
• Experience with working capital lines of credit and letters of credit.
• Experience with SBA loan programs and related processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business by sourcing, developing, and documenting calls on prospective clients.
• Manage commercial banking relationships and analyze financial statements.
• Negotiate, structure, price, document and close commercial loan transactions of moderate complexity.
• Collaborate with Treasury Management to identify and structure depository opportunities.
• Monitor delinquencies within assigned portfolio and support collections.
• Collaborate with Merchant Services and Credit Card teams to develop opportunities.
• Represent the bank in community and civic non-profit boards.
• Support compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
