Warrior Insurance Network is seeking a Commercial Auto Bodily Injury Claims Specialist in Chicago. The role handles investigation and settlement of auto bodily injury claims, including complex liability and property damage, with emphasis on fair closure and reasonable expenses.

Responsibilities include reviewing files, gathering evidence, negotiating liability, and presenting evaluations for settlement, while maintaining accurate documentation and collaborating with internal and external

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Commercial Auto Claims Insurance experience.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• General working knowledge of policies, file procedures, state rules and regulations.
• Ability to pass written examinations to become a licensed Claims Adjuster.
• Litigation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review files and determine action for final disposition.
• Investigate, evaluate and settle total loss files; obtain signed titles for salvage resolution.
• Work with customers to develop evidence and establish facts on claims.
• Maintain thorough documentation of file activity and applicable damages.
• Organize and prioritize work to ensure prompt conclusion of claims.
• Negotiate first/third-party liability after coverage investigation and damages analysis.
• Prepare and present claim evaluations for settlement authority.
• Notify Underwriting of adverse information uncovered.
• Uphold fair claim practices and manage expenses.
• Provide customer service to internal and external customers.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
