Trystar is seeking a Commercial Strategy Analyst based in Burnsville, MN to join the Solutions team. The role fuses competitive intelligence, transaction history, and market dynamics to guide solution priorities and pricing decisions.

You will collaborate with Finance, Sales, and leadership to ensure decisions are grounded in fact, building models, conducting win/loss analyses, and tracking market trends across segments and channels.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial strategy, BI, financial analysis, or product analytics.
• Strong ability to build complex analytical models and present insights to executives.
• Proficient in Excel and BI platforms; SQL experience preferred.
• Experience partnering with pricing, product, or GTM teams on impactful decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to convey complex analyses concisely.
• Experience integrating AI tools into workflows with measurable outcomes.

Responsabilités

• Analyze transaction and shipment data to surface mix shifts, margin trends, and growth patterns by segment, channel, and solution family.
• Develop market sizing models and opportunity maps that inform solution prioritization based on finance outputs.
• Conduct structured win/loss analyses with Sales to identify gaps and friction points.
• Track competitive intelligence and provide quarterly briefings for Solutions leadership.
• Provide price realization tracking and discount pattern analysis for decision support.
• Build willingness-to-pay models and scenario analyses for pricing strategy.
• Prepare price effectiveness inputs for leadership review with analytics, not binding decisions.
• Develop buyer personas by segment and application for a current customer view.
• Supply segment-level demand trends and market context to inform planning.
• Support investment cases with market sizing and competitive landscape inputs.
