Job summary

State of Louisiana seeks a Senior Advisor to the Executive Level focusing on Associates and Residential Advisors. You will supervise a team, manage payroll, guide staff development, and enforce disciplinary measures to maintain discipline and mission readiness across 150+ cadets.

You will coordinate training, interviews, and staff placement, ensuring effective supervision of shifts and compliance with SOPs and regulations. Strong leadership and communication are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Advanced Leadership Course (ALC) or civilian equivalent preferred.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Microsoft Office programs experience (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge and experience with at-risk youth preferred.

Responsibilities

• Primary advisor to the Executive Level regarding Associates and Residential Advisor issues.
• Direct line supervision of the Residential Advisors Department (1 Assistant Commandant).
• Manage payroll documentation and disciplinary actions for subordinates.
• Coordinate staff development and training for 150+ Associates and staff.
• Schedule duties, track drills and annual training dates.
• Maintain SOPs for the Residential Advisors Department and liaise with HR.
