Job summary

Eastern Kentucky University seeks a Senior Counselor for College Enrollment and Career Readiness to provide integrated enrollment support and career coaching within the College of Education and Applied Human Sciences. You will connect programs to career pathways, assist with enrollment engagement, and deliver career preparation services to prospective, admitted, and enrolled students.

Requires a Bachelor's in a related field; a Master's is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• Occasional travel and evening/weekend work may be required.
• Minimum two years of experience in recruitment, student success, career coaching, counseling, crisis intervention, or academic support services.

Responsibilities

• Enrollment & yield support using Slate CRM; analyze data to improve recruitment strategies.
• Career coaching: resume critiques, mock interviews, career readiness sessions and workshops.
• Promote experiential learning opportunities (internships, co-ops) and coordinate with departments and employers.
• Engage with college and external partners to host events and information sessions.
• Develop college-specific orientation and sustain collaboration with faculty and leadership.
