Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, or related field required.
• 5+ years in collections, or a related role within the financial industry required.
• Equivalent job experience within a financial institution will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of collectors to achieve departmental goals and develop staff.
• Communicate with members to gather information and discuss delinquency options.
• Develop and implement collections strategies to minimize losses and maximize recovery.
• Oversee financial analyses of members' finances to assess ability to pay.
• Manage escalated member calls and complaints professionally.
• Generate reports and provide updates on key performance indicators.
• Oversee Loss Mitigation intake and collaborate with the team.
• Design training programs to ensure staff stay compliant with regulations.
• Conduct audits of collections processes for accuracy and compliance.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, or related field

5+ years in collections, or a related role within the financial industry
