Job summary

QBE is seeking a Collateral Treasury Senior Analyst to support oversight, execution, and continuous improvement of global collateral management processes within Group Treasury. You will capture business requirements, document operational processes, and drive enhancements with strong analytical judgment.

The role involves coordinating settlements, reviewing IMAs, and supporting complex reinsurance transactions, regulatory readiness, and governance across custodians, trustees, and investment

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of business analysis experience in treasury, collateral management, investment operations, reinsurance operations, financial services, insurance, or related control-focused function.
• Strong understanding of collateral management, investment operations, custody, trust structures, letters of credit, reinsurance collateral, or related workflows.
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills; able to interpret complex agreements and reconcile data.

Responsibilities

• Independently validate offshore collateral balance reviews and assist with variance investigation and resolution with stakeholders.
• Coordinate loss portfolio transfer (LPT) settlement with investment, accounting, treasury and counterparties.
• Coordinate collateral settlement activity, including wire instructions, bank letters, and related documentation.
