Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Collaboration & Network Engineer to support a defense and government technology client. The role serves as a trusted technical advisor for enterprise collaboration platforms and secure network infrastructure within a highly secured environment.

The engineer will lead engagements, troubleshoot complex UC and networking issues, design highly available solutions, and drive automation using APIs and scripting. On-site at Scott AFB IL.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance required.
• 8+ years of experience supporting enterprise networking and unified communications environments.
• CCNP Collaboration, CCIE Collaboration, or equivalent advanced networking certification preferred.
• Extensive experience with call management platforms, instant messaging and presence solutions, voice gateways, SIP, H.323, MGCP, PSTN connectivity, CUBE, and enterprise UC environments.
• Advanced knowledge of routing and switching, Layer 1 and Layer 2 networking, spanning tree, firewall policies, lifecycle management, Linux and Windows Server administration, virtualization, Docker, GitHub, and API-driven automation.

Responsibilities

The Senior Collaboration & Network Engineer will serve as a trusted technical advisor responsible for enterprise collaboration platforms, network infrastructure, security initiatives, and critical communication systems within a highly secure environment. The Senior Collaboration & Network Engineer ust be onsite 4 a days a week at Scott Air Force Base IL.

Compensation for the Senior Collaboration & Network Engineer includes:

• Salary range: $130,000 - $160,000 annually
