Job summary

Integral Federal is seeking a Lead ColdFusion Developer / Technical Lead to sustain and enhance a mission-critical DISA human capital management application. The role is hands-on, guiding others while actively coding and debugging in a mature ColdFusion/SQL Server environment.

You will lead technical analysis, design changes, and code reviews, ensure secure development practices, and coordinate weekly and monthly releases with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years in software development.
• 7+ years hands-on Adobe ColdFusion/CFML development.
• Experience as technical lead or senior developer on complex production apps.
• Strong SQL Server development and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web-application development.
• Experience with Git-based source control and controlled release processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead for ColdFusion/CFML development, sustainment, and troubleshooting.
• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance ColdFusion and SQL Server applications.
• Analyze existing code and architecture before implementing changes.
• Lead RFCs, user stories, defects, and urgent changes estimation.
• Provide technical direction and perform code reviews while coding.
• Establish maintainable coding patterns for the legacy app.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, procedures, and database interactions.
• Investigate and resolve complex production issues.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to clarify requirements and risks.
• Support testing, Fortify scanning, and security remediation.
• Coordinate readiness for weekly releases and monthly deployments.
• Mentor developers and share critical knowledge across the team.
• Maintain technical documentation.
