The role requires strong knowledge of coding guidelines, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex health records in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Your job is more than a job
Laissez les bons “codes” rouler! As a Senior Medical Coder, you determine the ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT diagnostic and procedural codes like a top notch jazz musician choosing the appropriate MS-DRG and APR-DRG for patient records as you navigate across multiple specialties (cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, trauma, orthopedics, general medicine and surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics, newborns, family medicine, internal medicine, surgery, interventional radiology, trauma, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, etc.).
As a valuable senior member of our merry band of coders, you set a positive tone sharing your professional expertise while guarding patient information like a secret family recipe. You love being a go-to resource for all things coding. You put the extra in extraordinary. We love that about you.
Your experiences, knowledge, special skills, team mentality, and your “little something extra” all add up to you. And we’re excited to get to know you and find out what you’ll bring to this senior medical coding role.
