Job summary

PK Companies Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Quality Technician in Houston to join our Gulf Coast team. You will lead quality inspections of coatings applications, perform tests with precision instruments, and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.

The role requires 7–10 years in coatings quality inspection and a NACE Level 2 designation, with strong attention to detail and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years minimum experience in the coatings quality inspection field.
• Coatings Inspector Level 2 (NACE) minimum.
• Proficiency with measurement and testing equipment.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections and quality checks on shop and field coatings.
• Conduct tests and measurements to ensure product specifications are met.
• Document defects and communicate findings to production.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection results and testing data.
• Collaborate with production to resolve quality issues promptly.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures and ITPs.
• Support continuous improvement and safety compliance.
• Mentor QA staff as needed.
