The pilot must maintain flight logs, ensure airworthiness before, during, and after flights, and coordinate with leadership on operational status.

Qualifications

• FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with instrument and multiengine qualifications required.
• Current Class II FAA Medical Certificate.
• Strong customer service aptitude.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate aircraft safely and efficiently under PIC authority and regulations.
• Ensure paperwork is neat, legible, and accurate.
• Provide safe, legal, courteous, and reliable service with safety briefings and baggage procedures.
• Keep certificates current and Lafayette Operations have copies.
• Maintain a personal logbook and recency of experience; FAR Part 135 qual.
• Inform leadership of aircraft status and ensure airworthiness.
• Represent Air Med Services / Executive Aircraft Charter professionally.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisors.
• Report all aircraft mechanical malfunctions to maintenance.
