Job summary

MANTECH is seeking a highly technical CNO Software Developer to join our Columbia, MD team. You will develop advanced CNO capabilities that directly support national security and work with a collaborative group focused on solving complex technical challenges for critical missions.

You will lead architectural design, drive CI/CD pipelines, and mentor junior engineers while translating mission requirements into actionable roadmaps for delivery and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field as described.
• 5+ years in cyber software engineering or related roles.
• 2+ years leading technical initiatives or as Tech Lead.
• Experience programming in C, C++, Go, Java, or Python.
• Strong knowledge of networking/TCP/IP and socket-level programming.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Podman) and orchestration tools.
• Hands-on virtualization and IaC tools like ESXi, QEMU/KVM, VirtualBox, Hyper-V, Vagrant, Terraform, Ansible.
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD in restricted environments.
• Ability to explain complex technical requirements to diverse audiences.
• Experience with reverse engineering tools (IDA/Ghidra).
• Knowledge of CNO environment and security engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and lifecycle management of CNO capabilities and CI/CD pipelines.
• Serve as technical liaison translating mission requirements into technical roadmaps.
• Oversee security engineering, telemetry integration, and testing environments.
• Mentor staff in debugging, reverse engineering, and secure coding; develop training curricula.
• Collaborate across teams to refine capabilities and align with mission needs.
