Job summary

Amphenol CDI is seeking a seasoned CNC Programmer to support the production of machined components. You will create CNC programs, define workholding, select tooling, and document processes to enable efficient, accurate manufacturing.

The role emphasizes adherence to CDI standards, safety, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of CNC experience, Mastercam CAD/CAM proficiency, and strong GD&T knowledge.

Qualifications

Minimum of 4–6 years related experience in CNC operation.
Experience programming using Mastercam or related CAD/CAM software; knowledge of Creo/Pro-E or SolidWorks.
Trade school/training certificate preferred.
Able to read/interpret blueprints and GD&T.
Lean manufacturing/5S experience desired.

Responsibilities

Train and develop machine shop personnel as assigned.
Complete work orders in area and ensure standards of CDI are met.
Follow instructions from Machine Shop Leadership and contribute ideas.
Interpret blueprints, sketches, and drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances.
Design and fabricate fixturing and tooling to improve setup and reduce changeover time.
Set up and run first article or trial to verify machine settings.
Create setup sheets, tooling sheets and work instructions.
Troubleshoot machine issues and adjust CNC programs as needed.
Participate in continuous improvement to reduce cycle time and improve quality.
Adhere to safety procedures and maintain clean work environment.
