RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC in Wisconsin is seeking a Senior CNC Setup Machinist for multi-axis mills and lathes in aerospace/defense. You will own complex setups, edit G-code, perform first-article inspections, and collaborate with engineering on DFM.

This direct-hire role features a 1st shift with early Friday finish, a climate-controlled facility, and a path to mentor operators while improving cell throughput and lean initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of independent CNC setup on HMC/VMC or multi-axis lathes with G-code editing.
• Experience in aerospace/defense or medical device machining.
• Hands-on experience with Mori Seiki, Doosan, Fanuc CNCs.
• US Citizenship or Green Card required for ITAR compliance.
• Daily commute to Greater Green Bay, WI.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex CNC setups on HMC/VMC mills and multi-axis turning centers.
• Edit G-code and macro variables at the controller to optimize tool paths and cycles.
• Perform precision first-article inspections using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges.
• Collaborate with engineering on tool-path optimization and DFM reviews for new products.
• Mentor junior operators and help upskill production staff.
• Improve cell throughput and reduce cycle times.
