Job summary

Sora Resource Group seeks a Senior CNC Setup Machinist for a high-precision aerospace/defense environment in Wisconsin. You will own complex setups on HMC/VMC mills and multi-axis turning centers, edit G-code at the controller, and perform rigorous first‑article inspections.

Join a climate-controlled facility, mentor junior operators, and collaborate with engineering on DFM reviews to optimize tool paths and manufacturing throughput.

Qualifications

• 3+ years independent CNC setup on HMC/VMC or multi-axis lathes.
• Experience editing G-code at the controller.
• Aerospace/defense manufacturing background preferred.
• ITAR compliance with US citizenship or green card.
• Daily commute within Greater Green Bay, WI.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex setups on HMC/VMC mills and turning centers.
• Edit G-code at the controller to optimize tool paths.
• Perform first-article inspections with micrometers and calipers.
• Mentor junior operators on floor setups.
• Collaborate with engineering on DFMs and tool-path optimization.
