Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Springfield, MO, is seeking a CNC Programmer Machinist to collaborate with design, engineering, and project teams to create molds and tooling patterns from 3D CAD models. You will program toolpaths, operate LSAM printers and routers, and design fixtures to ensure production readiness.

The role requires 3–5 years CNC programming/machining experience or an appropriate degree, with proficiency in CATIA/3DExperience and Mastercam, plus familiarity with fiberglass molding methods

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent; preferred Associate or Bachelor in Design/Drafting, CNC Programming or related mechanical field.
• 3–5 years of CNC programming/machining experience, or equivalent education.
• Experience with CATIA/3DExperience and Mastercam is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design molds and tooling patterns from 3D CAD data.
• Program toolpaths for Thermwood LSAM printers and 3-axis/5-axis routers using Mastercam.
• Operate Thermwood LSAM printers and routers.
• Design/build fixtures for mold and pattern machining.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and tooling technicians to meet production requirements.
• Document materials, parts, and assembly instructions for tooling patterns.
